Omaid Sabz (Green Hope) Program

SEPA Green hope is a unique legally compliant program in which trained teachers deliver educational tutoring programs to girls across Afghanistan.  The tutoring is organized in small groups so that Afghan girls can continue to get education despite the official ban on girls’ schools and universities.

What is taught in the Tutoring program?

The model and unique program provides a unique opportunity to female students to continue their education in small groups in private and safe locations across Afghanistan.  The student group can be 5-10 students who receive official education and tutoring from trained and specialized teachers for a full year.  Teachers receive a monthly salary and training from SEPA to meet the students' needs.  All teachers and students are female.  A local women coordinator facilitates and coordinates the program.

The Omaid Sabz program remains complaint with both local laws and meets the needs to all women students currently banned from attending official public schools in Afghanistan.  The tutoring is provided complimentary to Afghan female students facing immense difficulties in Afghanistan's challenging context.

This program requires generous support and financial support from you.  Kindly consider a small or big contribution to continue implementing this important program in Afghanistan.
